Greeshed

A term used to describe a situation in betting when a person, particularly one with a track record of frequently making incorrect predictions, places a bet on a team that, under normal circumstances, is expected to win. However, the twist is that their bet is perceived as a jinx, with the belief that their endorsement might inversely affect the chances of the team achieving victory.

Dean was known for his series of inaccurate sports predictions, and yet, in a classic "Greeshed" moment, he confidently placed a bet on the heavily favored team, much to the skepticism of his friends who believed his endorsement might bring about the team's misfortune.
