The name Kowalski is dervived from Stanley Kowalski who is a fictional character in Tennessee Williams' play A Streetcar Named Desire.

Tom: We need to get rid of that guy, he's got the Kowalski Touch.

Mark: Yeah everything he works on breaks, regardless of how simple it is.
