Soycurity believers think that they will magically get hacked if they don't harden their OS/browser and/or have the latest security updates installed.
They believe their OS is their guardian angel which personally protects them from cyberattacks, while at the same time not caring to actually educate themselves on real cybersecurity.
Soycurity proponents believe there is always a 1:1 equivalence between number of security vulnerabilities and chances of getting pwned. Even if you only use a desktop and have common sense.
The following is an example of how a conversation with a soycurity believer might unfold:
