stretching the truth

Refers to the enormous sideways "expanding" of the "honesty line" (i.e., the "straight 'n' narrow" ink-trace that is drawn when the subject is not lying) that occurs whenever Hap Shaughnessy takes a polygraph test while reciting one of his grandiose tales of phenomenal past accomplishments/escapades.

When his fellow villagers disgustedly waved off his amazing tales of howling adventures and intrigue during his trip as an ambassador, Will Rogers indignantly snorted that he hoped that a building would fall in on him if he'd "padded the facts" at all about his recent political adventures, and a huge brick chimney immediately did collapse and shower him with bricks and powdery mortar-dust (he wasn't hurt -- no worries). Kind of a crude and "extreme" polygraph-device, but it did indeed show that Will had evidently been stretching the truth somewhat.

Stretchy Gretchy

Stretchy Gretchy is a phrase for a "thick snicker" boy that magically appears at class before everyone, even though you previously had passed him so you would assume that you would arrive to class before him. He has a distinct moustachhheeee as an eyebrow. He loves oranges and at lunch announces that "I like my girls as I like my oranges, Juicy." Girls tend to think that he has a skinny penis, and sultanas.

Stretchat

Stretchat is a combination of two words : stretch and chat. It can be used as a verb or a noun. A stretchat usually happens after a workout and describes the social activity of combining active recovery with a conversation, usually about serious topics including a new personal best, the gym next drinks event or more general gym gossip. Stretchatting is a key activity to build the sense of community in any good gym.

After our morning cardio session, Cat is always keen on stretchatting.
