barback

Someone who works behind the bar doing everything but serving drinks. They do things like restocking the fridge, replacing spirit, wine, and juice bottles, cleaning, replacing ice, et cetera.

Lorie is a barback so she spends most of her time restocking the bar area.

The adorable and highly talented guitarist of the band All Time Low. He jokes about anything and everything. At the Galmour Kills Tour he admited he wanted to leave with four girls and go home to his Matt Damon blow up doll, BUT if anyone knew the real Matt Damon, bring him too. Singer Alex Gaskarth said if someone brought the real Matt Damon he would be along for the ride as well.

Jack Barakat: I need a girl, or two or three or even four to come hom with me tonight. Because all I have at home is a Matt Damon bow up doll. But if anyone knows the real Matt Damon, you can bring him.

Alex Gaskarth: If someone brings Matt Damon, I'll come too.

someone who remains dormant during the regular season but when the NCAA tournament comes around, they become an instant expert at bracketology

Bracketman - "Louisville is tough this year but did you know Boise State is 7-2 vs. the top 100 RPI?"
Steve - "Oh really? So are you just pulling this shit out of your ass or did you really spend all night on ESPN.com just to make it seem like you're a semi-interesting person?"

loser's bracket

1. the sub-grouping within a competitive tournament whereby those who suffer their first loss are demoted to a pool of similar types who have suffered a like fate; one more defeat in this category renders the unfortunate complete elimination from the field.
2. a common perception that certain individuals are moving through their respective lives already having suffered some type of major defeat (or many smaller ones), thereby rendering them to a decidedly less than ideal existence.

Look at Joe : he attended all the wrong schools thereby acquiring all the wrong type of friends; this precipitated choosing the wrong type of occupation and marrying the wrong type of girl. Now he's in the wrong type of neighborhood with the wrong type of kids. Joe could be said to be existing in the loser's bracket of life.

1 a: The Obama version of "Backwards." b: Taking an action first without laying out a plan or doing groundwork. c: Pushing forward blindly without first examining details, blueprints, or instructions. d: Leaping without first looking.

BarackWards - An example is Nancy Pelosi's recent remark regarding health care:
"But we have to pass the (health care) bill so that you can find out what is in it."

Something which is BarackWards is taking an action first, and then looking at the details.

Baraka

A boy who is very smart and funny. Loves to show off his intelligence. Very emotionally intelligent and gives good advice. Usually a scorpio. He has good leadership skills but is a reluctant leader. He is very trustworthy and people confide in him though he can't really understand why. He loves cracking jokes and making people laugh even though he makes some dumb jokes sometimes. He doesn't get in many relationships instead he gets into few but serious ones. He has a big heart and if he likes you he will give you 200%.
