Small city in the upper south island of New Zealand. Known for an intolerance causing chemical in the water. Symptoms include racisim, bigotry, middle-class social climbing, and the complete inability to undertand anything that defies instant explanation.

Also know for the "sun tax" where employers believe they live in such a desirable location that they can get away with paying the lowest wages in the country.
