Cabin Fever Studios

A Legendary Recording Studio based on Vancouver Island, BC. Canada. Owned and operated by Producer/Audio Engineer Jordan Stringer who built the Studio from an old abandoned Hot Rod Shop. The name "Cabin Fever" is derived from the five out-bound cabins that once surrounded that portion of Stringer's property, which served as brothels for the local Coal Miners of Extension BC., many years ago. Only one cabin now stands, adjacent to the studio. Cabin Fever Studios has drawn attention worldwide as a proving ground for quality Canadian based production, audio mixing and mastering.

When looking to record music in British Columbia, one would naturally suggest Cabin Fever Studios as the place to get the job done.

fever dream

A fever dream is a state of mental delirium experienced due to intense sickness. It is likened to a dream in that it is associated with a disconnect from reality and loss of coherence, understanding and awareness of your surroundings.

It is often used as an analogy for an unpleasant experience which seems too strange or traumatic to be real.

That party last night with those girls and the cocaine still has my head spinning, it was like one big fever dream.
That the house fire with all the screaming and crying was such a horrible experience, I'm still traumatised from it, it feels like a fever dream.

I was so sick drifting in and out of consciousness and delirious, i didn't know what was real and what wasn't, a literal fever dream.
