Get the Black Cottonmug. The Black Disciples (often abbreviated as BDN or BDN III) is a large black street gang based in Chicago, Illinois. The Black Disciples are part of the alliance of street gangs but are known to engage in violence with other Folk Nation gangs such as the Gangster Disciples. As of this writing, there may be as many as 300 "sets" of the BDs throughout the Chicagoland area. Each "set" typically has 30 to 40 members, and is identical in the format of its organizational structure.
