An unusually long midday weekend meal, popularized by the gay community and characterized by excessive mimosa drinking, gossip and inside jokes. Occasionally followed by more drinking at a secondary (and sometimes tertiary) location.

When basic bitches go for brunch. Foods of choice generally include mimosas, eggs benedict, and French toast with strawberries and whipped cream. A basic bitch brunch is not complete until at least one member of the group posts pictures of their food on social media outlets, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat.

Basic bitch 1: Hey, do you want to go basic bitch brunching this weekend?

Basic bitch 2: Yaaaaas, I literally haven't been in forever!

2 o'clock brunch rush

(n.) the wave of hung over college kids that comes into the cafeteria for brunch around 2pm; typically occurs on Saturday and Sunday.

Guy 1- "Dude, you were so wasted last night."
Guy 2- "I know, I need to eat!"
Guy 1- "Well, you'll be smack dab in the middle of the 2 o'clock brunch rush if you go now."

Brunching Day

A day of celebration that falls on the Sunday after the first day of spring every March. It originated as a non religious, non commercial holiday that celebrates the change of season with the century old tradition of brunch.

Gift giving is customary on Brunching Day to add the the joyous undertone of the tradition, and as an act of defiance to the stagnant commercially propelled gift giving of western culture's "holiday season"

The first recorded Brunching Day occurred in Kansas City, Missouri on March 23, 2014.

Brunch Body

As opposed to the summer toned and cut Beach Body, a Brunch Body is characterized by stage 3 muffin tops, an incipient FUPA, thic arms and legs, a trendy fitness membership that they never use, incessant talk about and consumption of mimosas, a disposition toward cat ownership, and total lack of judgment about when and where yoga pants are appropriate. Usually refers to a female body, but not always. The phase between skinny fat and fat.

Britney used to be hot, but after hitting the single 30s professional track she’s gotten a serious Brunch Body.
