a self-consciously anti-intellectual person who is extremely aggressive, often verbally abusive, in his/her insistence that intelligence and its attendant abilities (to use "big words," to understand and elucidate complex and/or abstract concepts, to grasp subtleties and nuances, etc.) is bad in some way or another and should be squelched in any discussion--usually, such individuals feel that said discussions should instead be filled with simplistic, emotionally charged rhetoric and/or the ad nauseam repetition of dogma or pet phrases.

A virus related to COVID-19 that affects both sides of the political spectrum. Symptoms are either intense overreaction or extreme ignorance.

Moronavirus patient #1: How dare you step outside your house. We need to keep locked down until we find a vaccine.
Response: Really? Do you realize over 25% of the population could die from poverty, stress, or suicide if we do that?
Moronavirus patient #2: COVID-19 is a hoax. Let's go out and party, party, party.
Response: What's wrong with you? My friend died of COVID-19. Do you want to keep us shut down forever and get orher people sick?

A person with the intellectual capacity of a rock, with an over-abundance of money; or someone with more money than brains. In the case of a younger person, the money usually derives from family wealth and not from personal hard work. Known traits of moronaires: their inability to show respect to fellow human beings and the Law, as well as their overdeveloped sense of entitlement. This manifests mostly during their attempts at driving vehicles of all descriptions on public roads.

Dubai is a magnet for moronaires from all over the world. A good example would be a rich high school graduate racing around in a Lamborghini or other super car, and lacking the common sense or respect for law to drive safely, thus crashing and causing a spectacular fireball soon thereafter.
