A completely made up slang term that has never ever been used by any living human being other than Lynn Johnston in her horrible comic strip, For Better of For Worse. It is supposedly a hybrid of the word fool and boob.
April Patterson: "You're such a foob, mom!"
Ellie Patterson: "Well, you were an accident."
April Patterson: ::Stunned silence::

An extremely flexible, magic word that exists in nearly every part of speech. It can be used as a noun, verb, adjective, and adverb. Typically used in a positive light where the word “fuck” is typically used in a negative light.
Antonym: Fuck “Many an emotion is found between a fuck and a foob.”
Noun: “I give a big foob about the environment!” “That foober in line ahead of us just paid for our coffees!”
Verb: (To cuddle) “Honey, when we get home I could use some serious foob time.”
Adjective: “Damn beautiful! That foobing sky is so clear and blue!”
Adverb: “First place! I foobing ran that race!”
All the above: “You foobing foobed my foobin' cat! You said you hated cats, you foobing foob!!!”
