A totally pretentious way of saying that a fact will follow or has preceded a statement. Typically used so a writer can sound more intelligent than they actually are.

Thus, Luke Skywalker defeated his father in a lightsaber duel and Anakin Skywalker threw the Emperor down the reactor shaft of the Death Star, thus ending the tyranny of the Empire, thus setting the stage for the New Republic.

Look at the girl on those tits

An expression used when you see a girl, usually petite, with very large breasts. They are too big to say, "Look at those tits on that girl but rather, "Look at the girl on those tits."

Mike:"Look at the girl on those tits."

John:"Jesus! She must have serious back problems.

These things happen

usually used with the words "I suppose...." before "these things happen." A phrase which is similar to shit happens and it is what it is. This expression, though, implies that the action that caused the saying of the phrase was so hopelessly terrible to the speaker, that him/her don't have anything to say, and use it as a means of justifying the terrible event.

1: Damn, I just lost my kids in a court case.

One of those douchebags

A phrase that was originally used against people who were tired when they came back from camp, but has evolved and can now be used against anything that someone might be doing that seems like something a douchebag would do.

1: "Wanna hang out?"
2: "I'm too tired, i just got back from camp"
1: " Wow, your one of those douchebags that's tired when they come back from camp?"

3: "What are you having for dinner?"
4: "Pizza."
3: "One of those douchebags that eats pizza."

These pretzels are making me thirsty George yelled out the window of Jerry's apartment, and kramer got fired from the movie because when he said the line he slammed down a glass cup and broke a piece into woody allen's eye and he started to cry.
