Fake plates. They are way too ambiguous. You could load up the bar and have it look like 300kg when in fact it’s only 80kg.

Get The Plates is phrase used when implying that someone or something has just been "served". Commonly used in high schools with many variations such as, "Start handing the plates out" and "Get the plates cuz' you just got served"

A good idea that is solid and grounded.
Differs from 'Jazz at the end of a shoe string',a good idea that is so far out it has the possibility to go tits up.
