Monkeyfistfart

A form of spontaneous gaslighting where a person makes up a word on the spot while riffing on a subject, and the listener momentarily believes it's a real term, so the speaker goes with it continuing to convince the listener that it really is a thing to see how far they can take it.

x: "Where do you want to eat?"
y: "Somewhere with snebits (like rabbit food & veggies sounding word) food"
x: "What the hell is 'SNEBITS' food?!?!"
y: "Salad"
x: "Whaaaaat? Is that a THING?"
y: Yea. You've never heard of it? REALLTY? Even as a kid? Must be an East coast thing."
x: "No, never. Wow. Don't tell anyone."
