Upstate isn't about Texas you morons, it refers to New York. Here in the city where skinny gangstas ryde, you don't wanna be sent upstate. Being sent up north, or upstate, means your about to be introduced to soap on a rope and other assets of prison life. Some great gangstas, the O.G.s, become Gods upstate, and come home and put shit on lock. The rest of them just get their shit put on coc* in prison and are bitc* when they come home.

Has nothin to do wit us nyc goers (bx stand up). Upstate new york actually starts after southern westchester. The Bronx used to be part of westchester. So, westchester couldn't possibly be upstate. Not that I care because Westchester is a shithole just like every other place outside of city walls. The only places in westchester that get respect from me (they aren't in the "westchester shithole" category) are: Mount Vernon, Yonkers, and maybe white plains.

Upstate New York

A mountainous version of the Midwest. Country life at its worst. Upstate is very distinctive looking from other similar areas (Western Pennsylvania, the Midwest, New England) and it all looks exactly the same.

Two places upstate 50 miles apart look more like each other than two places in Yonkers two BLOCKS apart.
