smart on

An engorged penis (or its metaphorical equivalent, a state of sexual or quasi-sexual arousal) that results from intellectual stimulation.
Baby, the way your tongue trips across the philosophical terminology and so cleverly articulates the existential quandary--you really give me a smart on.

smart car

1. A better alternative to the "punch buggy"/"slug bug" game. Instead of yelling "punch buggy"/"slug bug" when a Volkswagen bug is seen, you yell "smart car!" and proceed to kick the nearest person in the nuts, even if you are driving or the nearest person to you is driving. If the person who is to be kicked is a girl, a kick in the ovaries works just as well.

2. A phrase shouted when an awkward silence needs to be broken.
1.Jon: "Hey, isn't that one of those new fuel-efficient...

Maddy:"SMART CAR!!!" *kicks Jon in nuts*

Jon: *writhing in pain* Aaaahhhhh!!! I should have said it first!

2. *Awkward silence*...
Kenny: Smart Car!

smart arse

The British or Commonwealth English counterpart of the American English "smart ass" (probably the form in which it was invented, before being borrowed back into British English).

Calling someone a smart arse is intended to pull them down a peg or two for adopting a position of superiority, especially intellectual:
(1) through sarcasm,
(2) by using obscure knowledge to score points off other people, or
(3) just being too f**king smug when they're right about something.
"Oh, Alice, you're such a smart ass."
"Actually, Bob, I would prefer to be insulted using the correct, British English pronunciation: 'smart arse'."
"But, Alice, I think you'll find 'arse' has been pronounced 'ass' since at least Shakespeare's time, and therefore far pre-dates the division of English into British and American variants."

Smart Casual

Order of dress between Business Attire and Casual.

For men, this consists of a collared shirt with jacket without a tie. The pattern and colour of the jacket do not have to match with the pants.

For women, this order of dress offers a wide range of options. Skirt or pants are both fully acceptable. Jacket is optional.

Smart Casual is another way of saying no jeans and T-Shirt.

Wear business clothes in a relaxed fashion.
What are you wearing to the reception tomorrow night?
