If such items are misplaced, or thought to be lost, the subject becomes filled with regrettable doubt. Following this doubtful episode, the said person starts to feel confused and in a state of desperation, with commitment to discover where their missing belonging has gone. This, can also be known as "pranging" or "to prang out".
"Wheres my pillow? Seriously guys... have you got it?... Sit up a sec, are you sitting on it? Ahh man, prang-a-lang... I REALLY WANT MY PILLOW"

He asked for the benefit of the doubt and continued to be dishonest, causing further distress, inconvenience and loss.
She was advised to take into account past and current behaviors as an indication of future behaviors and outcomes - to take into account her doubts based on experience and/or a gut feeling - as opposed to giving the benefit of the doubt, perhaps blindly, based on nothing at all besides at the request of another, likely a person that stands to benefit should she ignore said doubt.

Doutch-Bag is a prank that started around the late 1930's, but reached it's popularity in the mid 1960's. The prank is when a person or group of people fart in a brown paper bag. After every has took a took a turn, you ask a Doutch to smell the bag by tricking him/her. You must have a clever reason in order for him/her to smell. After he/she smells the bag you have suceeded. Warning: no urinating or making a bowel movement in the bag. This is considered dishonourable and highly frowned upon by many.
