Buddha belly
A legitimate effect of Enlightenment, that no amount of working out will correct. It has nothing at all to do with fat or calories but rather is the result of actual changes in the physical structure of the body.

Addendum: I should mention that this is not meant to offend any Buddhists. This was taken from a situation in which a good Christian friend brought a small figure of Buddha as a purported good luck charm. His "tell" was when he rubbed Buddha around in his hand, hence the origin of "fondle Buddha".

Biddy
A European dialect word for 'Chicken or Hen', but was originally a word/sound used when 'calling chickens (i.e. biddybiddybiddy).
It's quite uncommon to hear it now, but it's an old (mostly British colloquialism) to refer to old women (of a certain disposition) as 'birds' or 'hens'.
Subsequently, the term 'Biddy' became a term used to refer to an old women, generally one who is fussy or garrulous.
