The unintentional act of forgetting to reply to a message—not because you don’t care, but because you overthought your response so much that you postponed it… and then forgot entirely.

It’s not ghosting. It’s guilt mixed with good intentions that got lost in the tabs of your brain.

I opened your message, mentally replied three times… then remembered five days later. Total replynesia.

insta-reply

when on nex, facebook, instant messenger or anything of that sort you reply to a msg and they reply back instaniously.(ex, you send it, click to refresh page and their reply is waiting for you. creepy. i know)

it oftens gives the impression that they are just sitting there refreshing the page waiting for you to reply.

mad reply

Used when you message someone and they don't reply. You message them saying "mad reply", which is sarcastic and to point out the fact that they really didn't reply at all.

Josh: Hey Dan, what time are we going out tonight?
Dan: ...
Josh: Mad reply
Dan: Oh right 8pm.

Acceptable Reply

A response to your message that is actually relatively decent and not just k, or lol, these things can be sent but must be followed with a contribution to your statement.

"I love you" is an acceptable reply for a significant other
"Lol. I love your meme"
"K, but what about (blank)?"
