Almost nobody uses the term potsy anymore, now it's called hopscotch.

pots

a disease in which your autonomic nervous system doesn't function properly, and the result is an abnormal increase in heart rate when standing or exercising. pots can be debilitating, but at least its not as bad as some other diseases. problems associated with pots included chronic fatigue, not being able to get up early in the morning, nausea, chest pain, headaches, lightheadedness, dizzyness. there is no cure but you can help urself out a lot by exercising daily and taking vitamin/ herbal supplements and some prescription meds.

Guy A: oh booh hoo I have pots. I'll just lay around the house all day and become deconditioned making my disorder worse.
Guy B: I have pots. but I can make it better by exercising and keeping myself busy and not laying around on the couch all day. I might never be cured but at least I'll feel better.

potsmoker's thumb

Noun.
1. A raw condition resulting from too much smoking of a substance through a hitter. When smoking through a one-hitter, the user has to continually light the substance over and over again because it does not stay lit in a hitter, creating a raw thumb. After awhile the lighter becomes very hot and even to the point of burning the user. Thus, everytime the user lights the substance, he not only wears out the skin on his thumb, but he burns it as well. *The condition consists of either raw, red skin on the inside of the thumb or loose, dead skin such as to burns.

Charlie was smoking some stuff out by pool for about 3 hours last night. He has like three band aids on his thumb. I think he has potsmoker's thumb.

potassium yttrium sulfur

Also known as Potassium Yttrium Sulfide. If somebody mentions this to you, they are quite literally saying KYS. As always, when somebody tells you to KYS, it is either a sign of true friendship or they fucking hate you.

Doctor: I can prescribe a 10mg dose of Potassium Yttrium Sulfur. Please administer rectally.

Double potassium

A somewhat nerdy colloquialism for "okay." As potassium's atomic symbol is K, double potassium implies "KK" which is in itself a colloquial version of "okay."

Person 1: Hey, want to meet me at Starbucks around noon?
Person 2: Sure, that sounds good.
Person 1: Great! Oh, remember to bring your notes.
Person 2: Double potassium.

Hocus pocus, there's pizza on your focus.

The phrase you say when you put a slice of pizza on someone's car focus. Fucking hilarious joke. It is only acceptable to use if you either live in the UK or are from the UK.
