ADJECTIVE
A condition of being successfully duped, deceived, and tricked big
time. I mean BIG TIME.
Origin:
Early 21st century; inspired by the dire condition suffered by certain
gullible surface-dwelling mortals, mostly men, after being totally duped by a mythical underwater
monster of the Atlantis that was a master of deception.
Examples:
“She slept with another man on your marital bed. You’ve been amberturded, bro!"
“That tabloid’
s editor was totally amberturded into publishing an untrue and malicious story which damaged a good person's life .”
“She promised to give the entire money away to
charity, but then, of course, some sucker would be amberturded into buying her story.”
"I
thought I met the woman of my
dream, but she turned out to be the worst type of female you could ever end up with. Emotionally and physically abusive, manipulative, materialistic, unfaithful... I've been amberturded, man!"
