Life’s a kimble

A saying inspired by the Finnish board game Kimble (similar to Ludo). It means that life, like the game, is full of ups and downs: sometimes you move forward, sometimes you’re stuck waiting for the right roll, sometimes you’re frustrated when someone knocks you back, and sometimes you’re thrilled when you get ahead. In short, life is unpredictable, playful, and never entirely in your control.
1. “Don’t stress too much about setbacks — life’s a Kimble, sometimes you’re just waiting for the right roll.”
2. “She thought everything was going smoothly, then boom — back to start. Life’s a Kimble.”
3. “Winning feels great, losing sucks, but that’s the game. Life’s a Kimble.”
4. “We all get stuck sometimes, can’t move forward until the dice agrees… life’s a Kimble.”

life history theory

This theory refers to the idea exposure to an unpredictable, impoverished environment as a kid leads to faster development whereas children who grow up in a stable environment with more resources tend to have a slower developmental course.
According to the life history theory, families with more means often have more anticipation of years of schooling and career before one necessarily has to “grow up”—there’s plenty of time for that later.

Life is what you make it, an opportunity just take it

This quote simply means that life is in your control and that you’re the one who can shape your destiny. When being in control you also have the choice to take opportunities that come your way and create a new exciting chapter
Hey Jarrad your life is going downhill - seize the day, make the most of what the universe has to offer. Life is what you make it, an opportunity just take it
