Waiting Room Paradox

Arriving in a waiting room to find worthwhile reading material, only to be interrupted shortly after when your appointment is running unusually on time.
Did you see Jay Leno's new street rod in the latest Wheels magazine?
No, I didn't get up to that part. Dentist was running on time. Damn waiting room paradox.

The Easy Mac Paradox

derived from the frustrations of Hannah and Kristin, two first year college students living in the dorms and surviving on bland dorm food and the popular Easy Mac by Kraft foods.

Refers to the frustrating situation one encounters when attempting to satisfy hunger and craving with the Easy Mac snack.

The Paradox: One can eat one packet of Kraft Easy Mac and still be a little bit hungry and craving more of the cheesy and delightful snack, yet if one prepares two packets in hopes of avoiding this hunger and craving at the end of his snack, he finds himself fully overwhelmed by the cheesiness of the snack that the craving seemingly dwindles even before one packet has been devoured.

Either be left wanting more. Or disgusted too soon. You just can't win with the Easy.

disappear paradox

The idea that if you supposedly went back in time to pick yourself up, and went back with yourself in the future, and something prevented you from going to the past (death, coma, etc), you would disappear from the time frame entirely, due to the fact that if you dissapeared in the past, you would dissapear in the future.

However, if you dissapeared in the future, you never would have been in the past to pick yourself up.
Disappear Paradox:
1. You're in the present.
2. You see yourself, and then you kidnap you.
3. you will dissapear from the time frame forever, probably because it's impossible to go back in time, or you are trapped in the future by death, coma, etc.
4. If you dissapear, then you're future self disappears, because you dissapear. However, you would never kidnap yourself if you dissapeared, and you would be back in the present, and you would kidnap yourself again. And again, and again...

Paradox

paradox is a true statement or group of statements that leads to a contradiction or a situation which defies logic or intuition. The term is also used for an apparent contradiction that actually expresses a non-dual truth such as two true sentences which put together seem incompatible as both being true. Typically however, quoted paradoxical statements do not imply a real contradiction and the puzzling results can be rectified by demonstrating that one or more of the premises themselves are not really true, a play on words, faulty and/or cannot all be true together. But many paradoxes, such as Curry's paradox, do not yet have universally accepted resolutions. The word paradox is often used interchangeably with contradiction. Literary and other artistic uses of paradoxes imply no contradiction and may be used to describe situations that are ironic. Sometimes the term paradox is used for situations that are merely surprising.

Weird Al Paradox

The phenomenon of a celebrity, most notably Weird Al Yankovic, who grows more popular the geekier he gets.

Another example would be Seth Green who is/was a co-star on geek shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Family Guy and went on to co-creating and participating in Robot Chicken, one of the geekiest shows in human history, while becoming in many people's eyes cooler and cooler.
Weird Al's song and video for White and Nerdy were both extremely popular but also chock full of geek references, it's quite the Weird Al Paradox.
