The common definition of clout is fame or wealth but the actual definition is a type of Native american loin cloth.

A good ole pair of breech clout consists of a leather belt worn around the waist with a long “often wool” cloth pulled through from the front to back that cups the nether regions.

Cloutlighting

A mixture of clout and gaslighting.

This term refers to when someone baits, torments, teases, or talks down to you, while recording and posting to gain social media notoriety.

It can refer to extreme prank videos or those including arguments, and tends to feature the video-taker joking at the expense of the other (normally unwilling) party.
