Love is sticking your heart on the line and watching it get torn to shreds before your very eyes.
After that your heart can't ever love again so you spend your love having short painful relationships until either:
1. An evil ex kills you (or chops up your dick)
2. You die an old man having wasted 78 years of your loveless life

Male: Hey we've known each other for a long time and I think that ....

Female: What?

Male: You're going to laugh.

Female: No I won't.

Male: Ok. I love you. Do you wanna go out?

Female: EWW! NO! Me with you, gross. Get away from me you creep!

Male: *Cries* "Oh why!?" *Picks up gun* "oh tiffany, why would you do tha--........... *bang!*

Love 

Basically it is the worst thing that can happen to a human being. To love you must allow yourself to be vulnerable you must be very strong, because a failed love is similar to the worst day of your life x's 5 trillion burning suns and death. One day you will wake up and try to figure out what happened to the person you used to be...and the answer will be simple, they are dead.

Person A: I love you...
Person K: I can't say that...I can only have sex.

Person A: FML.
Person K: Exactly!

Love 

A term used to describe someone, usually a young girl/woman. When said by a man, many times it can appear sexist and piggish. When used between two women about the same age who are strangers to eachother, normally there is a condescending tone. While sometimes friends may use it endearingly with eachother, for the most part, this word has condescending and sexist connotations to it.

Man to young woman: I'm pretty sure I can handle this all by myself, love.

Woman to other woman of the same age, Strangers: Trust me, love, I know what I'm talking about.

One friend talking to another: You have to buy that dress! No, seriously! You look absolutely beautiful, love:)

Love 

Love is when you can not stop thinking about someone. Everything you do reminds you of them. You have that feeling, that no one can describe. When you see them, you do anything to get them to notice you, and when they do you get so nervous and happy you don't even know what to think. When they smile, holy shit when they smile.. your whole world just evolves around them. That look that he gives you. You would do anything to get him to look at you like that again. There are so many people he would choose over you, but that doesn't matter. You always dream of you and him being together even though deep inside you know it won't happen, but maybe it will. Maybe.

Yeah.. that's love.

Love 

Love goes further than instinct... It is a deep, emotional, psychological feeling of joy and and intense happiness.

There is no past tense of the word "love" even though in the dictionary there is the word "loved." You don't stop loving something once you love it.

With love, you accept everything because you're happy with who or what it is you love. So you aren't risking losing anything, because you've accepted anything can happen. You are never unhappy with love, fear losing love or scared of love. Then it is not love. That is just an infatuation because you do not consciously understand that there is an immense satisfaction when you are in love.

You can cherish people or material without possessing or having it near you. That's an illusion people have because they're afraid it won't come back to them. It isn't love then, it's either an addiction or obsession.

You aren't letting anything go, you've accepted that it has gone and it shouldn't hurt because you love it so much you feel it has never left.

I love Isabella. I understand her and enjoy everything about her, she completes me.

I've known Eric for about 10 years now. Next time I see him, I'll make sure to tell him I love him.

Love is the best feeling in the world, however nothing that satisfactory comes free. When you love, there is always a risk that your feelings are unrequited. There is always a risk that he or she will lose interest in you. If you ever meet who you /think/ is "the one," you always think that that risk is not present and the feeling is mutual. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. When you're in love, you think of your lover every morning you wake up and every night you sleep. They're all that matter, you might even say that you can't live without them, that your life has no raison d'être, no reason for existence without them. When you're in love, you're in bliss. Love isn't real when you like them for their looks. Romeo and Juliet were attracted to each other because of their looks, but it was the personality that held the relationship together. Love is not what middle and high schoolers assume it to be, it's not what some girls giggle about, love is an intense feeling of affection.

"I'm in love with him."
"What could you possibly see in him? His face is scratched up due to an accident, it must be embarrassing to even be friends with him. He's just so weird."
"I don't care about his appearance. He's kind and sweet. I don't care that he's not accepted by other people, he's never impolite and he wouldn't hurt a fly. He's a genuinely nice person."
