Straight Edge

A straight edge person, is one who woke up one morning when one was around the age of 14 and one realized, "Wait, I haven't done any drugs yet, all of my friends have, I need to come up with an excuse for why I'm not cool. I know, I'll tell everyone I'm straight edge!"
One then lives one's life until the age of 23 being straight edge. Get's "xxx" tattooed on one's arm, never gets laid. Upon turning the age of 24, has a beer, regrets the tattoo, and realizes it's too late to ever have sex because one is a homo.

straight edge

In the non poser sense (i.e. someone who actually stays committed and doesn't give in to the pressure to use substances and have tons of sex) Someone who chooses to live a clean life free of the iniquity of poisonous substances such as alcohol, tabacco, drugs, as well as refraining from sex when not accompanied by a strong emotional attachment. Doesn't have to beat up people but some choose to not because they are straight edge but because they are assholes. However, to be straight edge is to endure ridicule, bias, fear, and prejudice. But knowing that your stronger in your convictions than others gives you all the support you'll ever need knowing that you don't rely on a crutch to facilitate social functions and happiness cause straight edgers can socialize and have fun in a natural state.
