usually occurs in a corporate setting, where one provides negative value to a work/company environment by doing no work but getting paid. purposeful time wasting, Can be used as a verb “sandbagging”, or used as an adjective to describe oneself "sandbagger"

Ex1: ‘Dude, can you believe that intern? All he does is Sandbag. Dude takes 45 minute out of office lol.

Ex2:

Bob: ‘Hey Chad, can you send over the documents I requested from Monday?’

Chad: ‘Dude it’s only Thursday, expect those docs next Monday.’

Bob: ‘Stop sandbagging!!’

Chad: ‘Suck my ***, my manager thinks i’m doing great. He told me in my mid year review’

When a hockey team enters a U11 female tournament in the bronze group C when in fact their skill level would put them in the next group up just to ensure they win.

The Powel river queens entered the wickfest female hockey tournament in group C bronze because “it’s their first year together”. They sat around laughing at the fact they were going to kill all these other teams because they knew damn well “first year together” didn’t mean shit seeing as all the girls had played hockey for 4+ years already on boys teams. They won the tournament by a long shot and “had a great trip home”. Sandbaggers
