Awkward Martyr

The friend a person selfishly takes to hang out to avoid a 1 on 1 situation, to either break the awkward tension with a girl you like, or because you would prefer not to hang out with the person who always insists "We need to hang out more".

Example 1
Guy 1: Hey man, can you come with me and this girl I like to the mall?
Guy 2: No thanks, I don't want to get in between you both
Guy 1: Please? I need an Awkward Martyr!

Example 2
Guy 1: Dude, Josh keeps wanting to hang out, and we have nothing in common, can you come along?
Guy 2: Sure, I'll be your awkward martyr in this one

Awkward tomato

Noun: During an awkward moment when there is only silence, you become an awkward tomato. Because, it's an awkward situation and you just stand there still like a tomato. Tomatoes are vibrant and red which means they're noticed which is much like how you feel in an awkward situation; very noticeable.

*Someone tells a shitty joke*
*You stand there in the silence still*
Bystander: "Hey look at that awkward tomato!"

*Someone doesn't understand the joke*
*All those who understood stand there still in the silence"
Bystander: "Hey look at those awkward tomatoes!"

awkward mustache

When a you can only grow enough hair above your upper lip for it to be noticeable but not enough to be called a legit mustache. Basically, it's a cross between nothing and a real mustache (a.k.a. peach fuzz)

I hate that I can't grow a real mustache so I have to shave my awkward mustache all the time.

Awkward Partridge

Following an awkward moment or conversation, one stands up abruptly from a seated position, and tunefully sings " and a partridge in a pear tree" . To the tune of "12 days of Christmas" (popular Christmas song). The song must be accompanied by awkward flailing and flapping of ones arms at eye level or higher. The moment is completed when one abrubtly drops back into their seat.

In the event of one standing up to begin with, one must sit on the floor quickly, leap up to perfrom the 'awkward partridge' and drop back to a cross legged position on the floor.

Man - (gets down on one knee) 'Will you marry me?'
Woman - 'errr..........do I know you?'
Man - (abruptly leaps up) '....and a partridge in a pear treeee' and sits back down.
Woman - "Awkward Partridge" !

Proper noun usually accompanied by hand gestures signifying small arms and a mimed a chomping motion. Denotes and objectifies the awkwardness of a prevailing situation in the form of a giant imaginary dinosaur.

Girl says "how's Kimberly"
Guy says "she dumped me last week"
Girl screams "awkward T-Rex!"
Laughter.
