A term used in North East wales by some teenagers. It is another word for fag or cigarette or smoke. It is used so Adults do no understand what they are talking about. Also can be said Shtoog

1. Mike: hey, wanna come with me to the park? I've got some stoogs?

Emma: ye sure! stooging is great! i love to stoog

2. Mike: we just gonna go for a stoog! cya later!

Mother: your gonna what?

Used to describe when a situation has suddenly turned awkwardly confrontational, dangerous or tense. Derives from a scenario where three men are casually sitting down and exchanged words escalate to the point where they stand up, ready to fight or possibly reach for a gun.

...then she told me she was late and that's when we all three stood up. Come to find out she was just talking about how she missed the first 15 minutes of her psyche class the other day. Whew!

Stood up by Boris

When delays on public transport in London cause you to be late for work.

Boris Johnson is the Mayor of London and responsible for public transport in the city, so when there are delays, it's obviously his fault!

Andy: "It's 9:40! You were supposed to be here at 9:00"
Dan: "I made it to the tube station on time, but I got stood up by Boris!"
