Cabinet Amnesia

When start or are about to do or say something then you either forget about it or space out while doing said action. The phenomenon in which you do or are about to do something and forget why you wanted to or did it in the first place.

I was opening a cabinet then I forgot why I opened a cabinet, therefore why I named it Cabinet Amnesia.

Poop Amnesia

A mental phenomena in which the pooper pushes violently to the point of completely losing his/her train of thought. Can have long term effects.

I opened safari on my phone while on the toilet and before I could type my search in, all hell broke loose for a total of 3 seconds. When it was over, I couldn’t remember what I was going to look up. I had experienced poop amnesia.

White Amnesia

Can happen to anybody with a white friend/lover/associate/rival/enemy. A common condition among Caucasians where you'll bring up a time (be it out of fun or seriousness) where they clearly did you bogus, said some fighting words to you, or just did something to offend and/or disrespect you personally. Upon the instance of you bringing it up to their attention at a later date, they'll deny it with the cluelessness of a toddler and will display genuine shock that they would do such a thing. If you keep pursuing the subject, they will then come to the conclusion that it was your fault that it happened.

Guy 1: "Man, remember that time when you went off on that waitress and called her a big-lipped monkey-fuck because she brought your meal last?"

Guy 2:"What? No way, when did this happen?!"

Guy 1: "My guy, it was last year. We all got our food and you had ordered some extra shit and when she said that yours still had time, you got mad and called her a monkey-fuck under your breath. We all heard you and she even looked at you too."

Guy 2: "WHAT?! No bro, I would NEVER say that! That's not funny, man. Even if I ever did, it was because she was being an asshole about it!"

Guy 1: "Nah man, she was polite and we could tell she was nervous too. You definitely did her bogus for that one."

Guy 2: "That's crazy...nah, I don't believe it. I always respect bitches, man!"

Guy 3: "Hahahahaha, Blake is doing that White Amnesia shit again!"

Guy 2: "WHAT?! Bro, I swear, I do NOT remember that shit even happening! You guys are making shit up!"

Guy 1: "Bruh, chill. We're just havin' fun! We don't care that you cussed her out, it's just funny how it happened."

Guy 3: "Yeah man, don't be butthurt lol"

Guy 2: "...I still don't know what you guys are talking about but whatever..."

Input Amnesia

Input amnesia is a ux design term. It is when a user makes a wrong input due to being accustomed to a similar apparatus they were just using or are familiar with. Consider some examples.

- Pressing the wrong button in a video game because a previous game you played uses that bottom for the desired function. In Skyrim, players sometimes accidentally steal/pick up items because the A/X button (used to pick up items) in other video games is often used to jump.

- A manual driver accidentally reaching for the stick shift in an automatic car.

Being aware of input amnesia helps designers make better designs.

"Sometimes I use my key fob that opens my Acura for Honda. My Honda doesn't open with a key fob. I am standing there pressing my Acura's unlock bottom instantly realizing I am a klutz. This example of input amnesia is caused by me being used to similar input but by habit choosing a wrong one".

Muslim Amnesia

The phenomenon where a muslim will say "Bismillah" before eating and then a few seconds later will forget they even said it and question themselves if they saif "Bismillah". The muslim will then say "Bismillah Fi Awwalihi Wa Akhirih". Then the process will repeat until they are sure they said "Bismillah" in some form.

-Wait, did i say Bismillah before eating?
-Yes, you did.
-Ok, thanks. I got a real problem with muslim amnesia.

Sudden partial amnesia

When in the process of starting to write,type, or do something suddenly forgetting the specifics of what you were gonna write,type,or do but still remember the general outline. It can become a real pain in the ass when you try to remember it.

Typing:

My papers on..uh..hmm..i know it had 2 words..hmm..well..god damnit.
Sudden partial amnesia.
