Legithood

A group of friends that are bound by their "legitimacy" in the social scene and who find personal fulfillment in excessive drinking, partying, and the stalking of females. Typically, they travel in tight-knit groups of eight or nine "Legits" and can often be confused with Guidos.

(1) You are only welcomed into Legithood if you're a Legit that is "too legit too quit".

(2) If you use the terms "beat chick" and "DUFF" then you clearly belong in the Legithood.

to say something that you aren't sure is legit a compliment, insult, etc. or is sarcasm, therefore Legitasm.

Legit talk

This word is another form of "for real." One can use this term to affirm a comment or statement made by another person. This term can be used as a rhetorical question as well.

Person 1: Is that a new car?
Person2: Legit talk bro. I just got it yesterday.

Person 1: Did you know that CNN is on channel 35?
Person 2: Legit talk?

Person 1: Dude I just aced my final.
Person 2: That's legit talk.
