the D is silent as most everyone now knows — the nickname of the great Belgian-born jazz guitarist Django (originally Jean Baptiste) Reinhardt, makes a dynamic musical choice for any jazz aficionado. Reinhardt's nickname "Django" is Romani for "I awake." The name has become more familiar with the release of and acclaim for the Quentin Tarantino film Django Unchained.

Diagolon

A proposed nation composed of territory from former American States and Canadian Provinces, which when mapped, form a Diagonal line from Alaska to Florida.

The Nation was first proposed by Raging Dissident while he was high as a kite on edibles that "ain't shit". It has since gained traction with thousands of supporters, chiefly due to the increasingly aggressive behaviour of the authoritarian left. Many see it as an inevitable response to this aggression, and a promised land for those with traditional Western Republican values.

Nations come and go, but Diagolon never dies.
