Skivs

What someone says when they get up out of their seat and want to save it for when they get back and so that no one steals it. Commonly mistaken for "skibs", and is synonmous to "fives".

Guy 1: "Hey guys I'll be right back, skivs."
Guy 2: "I'm gonna steal his seat."
Guy 3: "You can't he called skivs."

Skiv (noun) to borrow something, especially money, from someone with intent to pay them back but not until the very, very distant future.

“Hey, can I skiv a couple bucks off of you?”
“Man, I’m so glad she let me skiv some Monster cuz I am so freaking tired”
