Trecena- A thirteen-day period in the Mayan Tzolk'in Calendar. This calendar is their "Count Of Days" and has 260 days for its yearly cycle. Thirteen and twenty are significant numbers relating to the human body's joints and fingers. Thus, man is the measure of creation.

Trecena is similar to a week on the Gregorian Calendar, starts at 1 and ends at 13, 7 being the 'hump-day' or crest.
