shemo

1. Similar to "Emo" (see definition) but applying to the female sex specifically. Over-sensitivity characterized by an iPod filled with female punk sounds.

2. Depressed females between the ages of 12-20. Identified by straight two toned hair , black mascara, and hot pink eyeshadow. Similar to punk, but differentiated by the over-use of skulls and hearts. Heightend promiscuity and a tendency toward black and white photos of themselves.

3. A musical genre categorized by its use of acousic guitar and deep throaty female singers. (ie. Paramour, Lillix, etc.) Has spawned children resulting a modern Pop sound, including female artists such as Ashlee Simpson, Hillary Duff, or that band with Ashley Tisdale and her sister)

A crossover between the emo and scene kids subcultures. In recent days, scemos have been identifiable mainly by their music taste, which consists mainly of MCR, Fall Out Boy, and Panic!at The Disco (though bands like Mindless Self Indulgence, Jimmy Eat World, All Time Low, Pierce the Veil, etc. are also popular, and some are even fans of Twenty One Pilots and the like), 2000s fashion and hairstyles (usually long, ironed, and colourful), and an aesthetic inspired by MySpace graphics and glittery gifs. They often post under tags like #emocore or #scenecore

While at their peak in mid-to-late 2000s the two subcultures often competed for popularity and recognition, making any overlap rare, in recent times emo kids and scene kids have almost completely merged in order to avoid extinction, and the scemo label has become a staple of 2000s revival movements. SCEMOSEXUAL

Someone who is not only bisexual, but also a scenemo, or emo scene person. Anybody who is scenemo, scene, emo, scemosexual, or otherwise is considered the scourge of the earth and are often considered by the Catholic church to be worse then those who worship Satan. The only people who are worse then emo/scene/scemosexual (it's really all the same thing) are gangsters who are pretty much a disturbed branch of scene themselves.

Pope: I can deal with Satan, electric genital torture, hell, even ritual anal mutilation, but SCEMOSEXUALS? Hell no.
