wazzerk

A wazzerk is a colloquial term used in Lancashire for a sheep's head. Sheep are considered to be quite stupid as they are known to follow blindly the sheep in front of it. Therefore someone who is acting like a brainless idiot or a pillock could be called a wazzerk in Lancashire. Alternative spelling is wazzock. In 1981 Tony Capstick released a humorous single called 'Capstick Comes Home' where we here the word wazzerk being used.

Don't be so stupid you parrot-faced spawny eyed wazzerk.
