four letter word 

Phrase that refers to any number of "bad" words, often seen in forum posts. Can mean shit, fuck, damn, and even other non-four-lettered-words such as ass and bitch. Can also refer to the basic four letter words with suffixes (ie "ed" "ing"). Usually said by some religious freak or ten year old that will get in trouble if their parents see it.

word of the day 

almost 50% or more of the time is a word related to Facebook.

it's definitely not random because they pick definitions that match certain times of the year or holidays and also had geek, nerd, and dork; back to back days.

usually when it doesn't have anything to do with Facebook it's a pretty decent word or phrase, but sometimes it's almost as if they pick some of the words just to shame the person who created it since they get so many thumbs down and is the most god awful attempt at humor ever.

Unnecessarily complicated or pretentious words that smug assholes use to assert their perceived intellectual "superiority."

Brad: "Frankly, the film's quality was substandard at best, leading to an inherent dissociation and disconnect to myself as a paying audience member. It was almost insolent in its pandering. Thus, I can only describe the experience in viewing the film as one of a cataclysmic nature."

Tina: "So, you're saying you didn't like the film. What's with all the five-dollar words?"

Brad: "That statement is a gross oversimplification of my feelings regarding what should be a work of art. I'm merely trying to open and nurture a dialog , so that we may enjoy eachother's company in the spirit of natural, healthy debate."

Tine: "You're just trying to impress me and get in my pants, aren't you? Ain't happening."

Brad: "Well... shit."

A rural equestrian neighborhood in Central Florida considered to be for very wealthy people only until relative standards were raised by the Central Florida housing boom and fancy subdivisions in Chuluota.
