recession weaves

the scratchy, run down, matted up, patch of hair that a cheap girl wears to the wackest clubs in Vegas. It is usually falling out on the floor or cutting up the arm of the person nearest them in the club. Many girls with recession weaves come to the clubs thinking they look cute with those wiry broom tops, but they just look rough as shit. The hard texture of the recession weave makes it a good defense mechanism. A back scratcher.

Also, a recession weave is the weave you get when you purchased your package of hair in Wal-Mart.

Another definition is weaves that have been in someone's hair since before the recession began and are barely hangin on. They should have been disposed after the first use, but no, they were reused like five times.
Did you see all of those recession weaves at the club last night?

psychic-recursive gene

The gene responsible for making some people believe that anything from homosexuality to kleptomania can be tied to a single gene.
He says he's found a gay gene, an anti-social gene, a literary gene and a deep-sea exploration-promoting gene. I guess his psychic-recursive gene is working overtime.

Great Recession

Buzzword for the economic collapse of post 9/11 America. Actually started in '01 but peaked around '06-'08 all the while while we were being told that we weren't even IN a recession (until late Nov. '08 when Bush was ousted, hmmm). Symptoms of GR include, but are not limited to, huge pay cuts, massive job losses, homelessness, foreclosures, and a rise in the crime rate.
Damn, remember how things were before the Great Recession when all we had to worry about was if Clinton was getting head in the Oval Office? Now we have to worry about the whole fucking world hating us & wanting us dead.

Obama Recession

Term used mostly by Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh to blame the election of Barack Obama for the economic recession. Although it all started before his election and almost all analysts blame other factors like weak economic data and worries about other bailouts.
Rush Limbaugh: "The Obama recession is in full swing, ladies and gentlemen. Stocks are dying, which is a precursor of things to come. This is an Obama recession. Might turn into a depression. He hadn't done anything yet, but his ideas are killing the economy. His ideas are killing Wall Street. They need some certainty. (...) The markets are frozen because they really don't know how fast Obama is going to embark on his own destruction of the U.S. economy via his tax increases.

Sean Hannity: "It's under $55 a barrel. And by the way, Wall Street keeps sinking. Could it be the Obama recession: the fear that taxes are gonna go up, forcing people to pull out of the market? (...) This is really the Obama recession in this sense, that people that have money are looking at this, "Look, if he is true to his word, you know what? I'm getting out now." And he's the only president that has seen this dramatic decline in the stock market in the post-war era.
