Nearicle on Ice

A term used to describe a close 2nd place finish. Also used to describe an event which doesn't live up to the hype or hopes of the media.

Named for the 2010 U.S. Olympic Hockey team's silver medal finish a the Winter Olympics. The match-up was commonly compared and hyped as the next Miracle on Ice but fell just short of Gold as the U.S. lost to Canada in overtime.

neanderthal drunk

when one decides to get totally fucked up, thus passing out and not being able to get out of a room, so instead of being able to work the doorknob (or any type of early inventions, such as a wheel or doorknob), repeatedly bangs ones head on the door trying to get out, spitting all over the place, and video taping ones friend haveing mindless, headboard banging with her head, meaningless sex.

Nanichi

Nanichi is the Arawak (Taino)term for "my dear/my love/my beloved" etc. It is used by many Puerto Ricans on the island of Puerto Rico and a few in largely populated Puerto Rican areas (New York City, Boston, Chicago, etc).
Some Dominicans and even some Cubans also use the word due to the fact that the Arawak language was widely used throughout the Caribbean islands.
