Death Lag

When your character is killed in the middle of something resulting from a horrible lag. The player's character could either be killed by an enemy player, the game environment, a NPC or some monster in the game. As long as the game connects via internet, then this could happen as long as that connection is bad or "laggy".

This mainly occurs in overpopulated MMORPGs or games with otherwise bad internet connections that occur frequently, eg. RuneScape and Call of Duty 4.

Player 1: "WTF happend?! We were just about to win!"
Player 2: "Damn noob killed me because I lagged."
Player 3: "Dude, you were just owned by a 'death lag'!"

Used to describe a situation when one does not recognize the irony of his or her actions.

-
-Douchebag: I wear this scarf because it makes me look manly. It's a manly scarf.

-Lesser Douchebag: Ladies and Gentlemen, the Death of Irony.

-Douchebag: Wha-?

-Lesser Douchebag: Scarves are for girls, jackass.

Music that is insanely complicated and takes considerable technical skill to play, that is typically ruined by growling and lyrics that sing about "death" and "satan" and similiar words to try and make the music deeper than it already, but actuals detracts from its overall quality.

Fear Factory is death metal without the pathetic lyrics that attempt to make it scary.

Death Squad

A group of bitchy guys/girls that continuously shoot evil looks at you. Will gossip, stir and lie in such a way that is not noticeable to others. Usually carry similar markings, e.g orange faces and lots of mascara. Of course this example generally relates to girls.

A: Urgh, the death squad are trying to stare me out again.
B: God I hate them so much, I could just turd on that Alice's face.
