Bull Shit Public Relations.

This acronym comes in handy when you work for or deal with large corporations or celebrities when you need to describe a and vague, and sometimes nonsensical statement, their public relations person has crafted to assuage the public's negative emotions.

When genetically modified canola was found to be growing along roadsides in the US, this brought about a strong reaction in the public. Monsanto, the company who manufactures the canola, issued a BSPR statement as damage control.
