teleradiology

a means of delivering or transmitting medical images over standard dialup or broadband connections for interpretation by a qualified radiological specialist. ie; CT, MRI, X-Ray, UltraSound, etc.

A person is involved in an accident and emergency room doctors suspect bleeding of the brain. Before any surgery can be performed, the CT's must be viewed and interpreted by a qualified Radiologist. Since most hospitals don't have one on site 24/7, it is of the utmost importance to have a means of getting these images read expediently. Teleradiology systems acquire and transmit these images to the radiologist's home PC in a matter of minutes, thus saving valuable time and therefore lives.

Teefer

A word used during satirical impersonations of American right wing rednecks, referring to members of Antifa. Similarly to how "mosquito" can be shortened to "skeeter", pronouncing "Antifa" with a southern accent makes it sound like "antifer", which can be shortened to "teefer".

Can you believe some people think the bushfires in California were caused by Antifa arsonists and have nothing to do with climate change?

Yeah, it's crazy. "I bet them 'teefers are also like meltin' glaciers in Greenland and stuff, yup!". Haha
