Quiet Kid in the Corner

You know the kid. They often wear darker clothes, though it isn't necessary. Normally, this kid will talk to an elite few classmates who don't bug them, make fun of them, or bring them into irrelevant conversations. When you get to know that quiet kid, you can discover they are an individual person with lots of funny thoughts inside. They simply choose to keep them there. When they choose to let their thoughts out, the students laugh, but they're usually good kids, so the teacher's let it slide. Some speak more "properly" than others, depending on their sense of humor.

Mrs. Daniels: Justine, describe phagocytosis for the class.
*class considers whether there is actually a Justine in the school*
Justine: It's like when the space ship comes for the slime monster during its attempt at world domination, but the slime monster makes itself grow a little and eats it.
*class laughs*

Mrs. Powers: And they all lived happily ever after... maybe... or maybe they all died.
Justine: Of course they died... this book was written two hundred years ago.
...
Crystal: Did you hear what Justine said in English?
Amanda: That girl's name is Justine?.. It's always the quiet kid in the corner.

quiet girl

That quiet girl in your class. She's very bitter and negative, but is so sweet once you get to know her. She hates everyone because of hows she's ignored day after day. Whenever she tries to speak up, she's pushed back into her role as a nobody. Next time you see her, say hi, you'll make so happy .

Person: Why are you so quiet?

Quiet girl: .... Maybe its because no one wants to talk to me..

1) When a man barges violently into the bathroom while his friend is taking a shit, points at him and says sternly: "Are you quite finished?"

2) When a woman turns to her lover after he has been stuffing her like a thanksgiving turkey for three hours or more and exclaims "Are you quite finished?"

1) Bob, upon forced entry into Dave's bathroom: "Are you quite finished?"

2) Maria to Brian "Are you quite finished? We've been fucking for sixteen hours now. I have work, you know." Brian: "Nope" and proceeds to giving her an alligator fuckhouse and multiple donkey punches.

Quiet Guy Effect

The akward silence followed by hostility that quieter guys experience when talking to a girl. However, if a more outspoken guy says the exact same thing, it is tolerated and often respected. This occurs because of the assumption many (though not all) girls make that guys that don't talk much and keep to themselves are perverted.

Jackass: Care to hear a joke? (tells a dirty joke)

Girl: Hahahaha! That's funny. I'll have to remember that one.

Quieter Guy: (tells same dirty joke)

Girl: You perverted bastard! Is that all you ever think about? You'll never get any if you think jokes like that are funny. Go burn in hell, pervert!

Quieter Guy: Well, I'm probably not going to "get any" anytime soon anyway. God dammit, why do I always cause the Quiet Guy Effect no matter which girl I talk to?
