Chinese Born American (CBA)

A person born in China, of Chinese ancestry, who is raised in America with American values, culture, and citizenship. This person is often mistaken for a Chinese born and raised individual, but their lack of Mandarin/Chinese language fluency and lack of Chinese idiosyncratic cultural norms sets them apart.

My adopted, Chinese Born American (CBA) daughter finds it difficult to navigate culturally when in China. People assume she can speak Mandarin perfectly and that she is a native raised Chinese person, when in fact she couldn't be more American culturally even though she is racially Chinese.

cbf

A term used frequently out of laziness, it means "can't be fucked" or "couldn't be fucked" and in some cases "can be fucked" depending on the context.

For instance..
"I cbf going to the movies"
would be "can't be fucked"

and..
"I cbf getting up for work yesterday."
would be "couldn't be fucked"

where as..
"I'll go when I cbf"
would be "can be fucked"

Guy 1: CBF is awesome, shaving off a whole 10 letters. It lets me say things like "I cbf getting up" or shorten down on chat even more like.. "I cbf, ttyl".

CB Rambo

A CB rambo is a person who talks on a CB radio and acts like he can kick everyones ass, usually at a truck stop on CB channel 19. a cb rambo also uses a lot of swear words and says things that would make a nun at church cringe! most cb rambo's are complete pussies and just hide in their big truck. they talk "big" mostly because they are compensating for something.

CB rambo - "where you at you son of a bitch? I'm gonna come over there and yank you outta that truck and slap you all over this truckstop"

Driver 1 - "why don't you shut the hell up and go lay your ass down somewhere"

Driver 2 - "why is it that every time we come to this truckstop there's some CB rambo on the radio?"
