Herd-stupidity

A form of indirect protection from rational thinking that occurs when a large percentage of a population has become immune to using their brains, whether through group think or mainstream media influence , thereby providing a measure of isolation for individuals who are not so afflicted.

We seem to be protected from making any progress as society has achieved herd-stupidity

Herding worms

Comes from the common saying that something involving coordination of many different groups or people is difficult.

Very similiar to Herding Cats, only slower and more much more frustrating.

Nerd Herd

A group of nerdy and/or semi-nerdy friends who band together for protection. The group can change from 3 to 8 within seconds. Usually is made of up non-athletic kids who are just preppy enough to not be emo but don't care enough to be preppy. Their concerns are less materialistic and more silly.

Prep: Look at that loser Nerd Herd over there!

Emo: Dude... is that a Nerd Herd?
