where have all the cowboys gone ?

1. Paula Cole tune from the late 1990's; not so surprisingly, a big hit with feminists and frustrated single women everywhere. Go figure.
2. Justin Bieber - NOT a cowboy.
'I go do the laundry, while you go have a beer'. Yippy I, Yippy A !

Where have all the cowboys gone ? Simple. They're all women now - minus the penises.

Cowboys From Hell

Most well known song by the heavy metal band Pantera, as well as being their first single. This song showcases Dimebag Darrel's style of guitar playing, and was the band's first release since they left behind their "glam metal" image of the mid to late 80's, and subsequently formed the sub genre of heavy metal that came to be known as groove metal
Cowboys from Hell is arguably Pantera's finest song, a real headbanger!

Powder Cowboy™

noun
def 1. a snowboarder, from an original group (or "crew") of snowboarders from the Glenwood Springs, Colorado area, circa 1993.

def 2. any friend or powder-poaching, treeriding cohort of the original group, who is promoted into the fraternal order of Powder Cowboys™, by an original Powder Cowboy™ member.

def 3. a cattle rancher who uses cocaine recreationally, not to be confused with the first two definitions.

note: some Canadians also came up with "Powder Cowboy" to brand their (apparently epic) backcountry snowboarding guide company, years after the original group of Coloradans were already making shirts and apparel. Just to be clear. However, the original group would be more than happy to make friends with the Canadian group, and allow them to continue to use their name, in exchange for free riding and guide service at their location. :)
Looks like a Powder Cowboy™ cut the rope, and made tracks over in that closed area.

Whoa look at that line in those tight trees! A Powder Cowboy™ was there.

He is no gaper. He is a Powder Cowboy™.

Follow the Powder Cowboy™. He knows the line.

Had another epic day riding with Powder Cowboy™.

Cowboypunk

1.) An adult male who lacks the simple ability to determine what his urban identity should be. He his often a hipster or emo but drives a pick up truck. He is typically shallow, dresses the part but lacks the communicative skills to exchange banter with other scenesters and skater wannabes. He fails at an obvious attempt to be left wing rebelious and a stereotypical red neck at the same time.

2.) Verb: the act of slapping another person like a horse. Similar to a bitchslap or pimpslap except the victim lets out a verbal expression similar to a horse.
1.) Hey Ashton, see that sucker who just parked his truck and now he's skating? That's a cowboypunk if I ever did see one. What a asshat!

2.) I saw that artsy scenester dude at the coffee shop get cowboypunked by some emo girl! Cowboypunked for fudge cake!!! I thought his teeth were going to fall out. You had to be there.

Wild cowboys

The Wild Cowboys were the most notorious drug dealing gang in the history of New York City, as far as sheer numbers of crack they dealt. They were started by the Sepulveda brothers, Lenny and Nelson, during the time they attended George Washington H.S. in Washington Heights.

Eventually, the Wild Cowboys rose to the top of the crack game and controlled entire blocks in Washington Heights and The South Bronx. they virtually owned buildings in the South Bronx, near St Anns Park, and in Washington Heights, mainly in the W. 170's between Broadway and Amsterdam, then the epicenter of cocaine in all the USA. Besides making millions a week in sales of crack and cocaine, they were ruthless in dealings both personal and business.

They were known to intimidate and kill with ease anybody who opposed them or who would speak out against them. The NYPD combined with the DEA spent many years trying to bring them down, and eventually were successful in doing so. At one time you couldn't walk down a street in Washington Heights or The Souuh Bronx without feeling their impact.
There are at least 2 books written about the lesser known gang, at least in comparison with gangs like The Latin Kings and The Bloods. Wild Cowboys weren't about race, even though the majority of them were Dominican or Hispanic, they were strictly about power and control. The best book on them is a book called "Wild Cowboys" which chronicles their rise to notoriety. It can be found on Amazon.com and if you want to read about real life "Kings of New York" this is a good exaple.
The Wild Cowboys controlled the entire block of w 174th and Audubon Ave, not even the cops were safe at those 4 corners back then.

Queen's Cowboys

RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police)
The National police force of Canada. They originally rode horses back when cars & roads weren't quite up to modern standards. These days they prefer to ride in air-conditioned comfort of Ford Crown Vic Interceptors. The horses are generally only taken out for crowd control, parades, and musical ride.
The Queen's Cowboys pulled me over for speeding and asked for a non-voluntary donation to the National coffers.
