lalb

A LALB or lalb is an interstitial verse added to a song or poem between extant verses. It is related to a call and response, but is not a planned part of the original.

Examples of lalbs include Sweet Caroline ("Sweet Caroline.." "Ba ba ba!"), Rocky Horror Picture Show ("From the day he was born.." "Not the night, but the day!"), and the source of the word: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer ("Had a very shiny nose" "Like A Light Bulb!")

Lalakapoofey

Lalakapoofey is a satirical word, generally having two definitions. The first being a compliment, or a pet-name, much being like the word pookie. The second being an emphasis on a sentence, much like literally.
