These usually friendly dogs often can be seen with beggars on median strips or sidewalks, and often end up on animal shelters if the hippie is jailed, moves away or just doesn't want it anymore.

I got my dog from the animal shelter, he's a hippie German Shepherd and it's going to take a lot of work to train him.
