Raising the goatee

In modern American slang, it means to have a person's goatee raised at someone in a sign of displeasure or contempt. The term, which is a take on the phrase "raised eyebrows", was first brought into popular usage because of the aggressive facial expressions of former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher (who wears a goatee from time to time) to his players and officials from the sidelines of National Football League games during his tenure.

Raise the praise

This is a term when a person pretends to forget to do something but actually remembered and didn't want to do it.

It's called raise the praise and people raise both their arms up top ( like a praise to God ) when they have no clue about something. More like an "I don't know" kind of expression.
Tom: Did Emily know about all of us going to the concert yesterday?

Jack: I reckon she did, but when I asked her today, she just raise the praise.
