A nothingship is an unclassified “relationship” with another person. From the word "nothing" because there is actually no right fit prefix to classify your relation and you start to understand you actually mean "nothing'" to the other person. Communications and behaviors don't fit all basic the criteria for either a classic relationship, friendship or even situationship. Yet, there is a relation with time spent together and a certain level of intimacy. There can be hugs, holding hands, enjoying doing things together but no kissing or sex.
